For me, photography is all about authentic storytelling—capturing the bond between people and freezing emotions in time. Capturing someone in their true element. I'm not interested in photographing an overly posed version of who you are. In my experience, the most candid and memorable moments happen when you're having fun and feel completely free to be yourself. My real passion is giving you an experience that brings out that authenticity, so that anyone could look at your photos and truly feel all the emotions from those moments.

Hi! I'm Lauren.
I've been a photographer for about 8 years, starting out with landscape and travel photography, then somewhere along the way I fell in love with taking portraits and documenting love stories. I live in O'ahu, Hawai'i, filling up my free time with hiking, free diving, surfing, spending time with my friends...all the best parts of life! Along with photography, I'm super passionate about sustainability and taking care of our environment, so you can also find me talking about reducing plastic pollution at Protea Zero Waste!
